HMUN-CHINA

The school year kicked off with a fantastic opportunity for one of our EXECOM members, Leangchinh Dom, who attended the Harvard China Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Guangzhou, China. Over four days, Leangchinh spent 8-9 hours a day debating important global issues in the African Union Committee, working with students from all over the world, and gaining hands-on experience in diplomacy. It was a great chance to see how MUN works on an international level and learn more about how countries collaborate to solve problems.

Even with the busy schedule, Leangchinh made time to explore the city’s exciting culture, from visiting big shopping malls to trying local food. This mix of hard work and new experiences made the trip unforgettable, and Leangchinh returned with lots of new ideas and lessons to share with our team. We can’t wait to see how this experience will help us take on future global events!
