Second Deputy Chair - Tim Heng

My name is Tim, and I am a Year 13 student at Southbridge International School, Cambodia. It is my pleasure to serve as your Chair for the Group of 77 at NISCMUN26. This will be my third MUN conference in Phnom Penh and my second time chairing. Previously, I have served as Under-Secretary-General for Simulations at SISCMUN 2026 and as Deputy Head of Administration and Logistics at SISCMUN 2025, experiences that have strengthened my leadership, organisation, and understanding of conference management and I am excited to guide you through what I hope will be a challenging and rewarding committee experience.
The Group of 77 provides a platform for developing nations to collaborate on issues of development, and humanitarian justice. Throughout the conference, we will engage in thoughtful debates and problem-solving on pressing topics such as banning child marriage and addressing trafficking, violence, and exploitation.
