Dear Delegates, I am pleased to serve as your Head Chair of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Committee at NISCMUN'25. My name is Krnav Gupta, and I am currently a junior at BISHCMC, Vietnam. I am excited to lead excellent debates in ECOSOC that are powered by your skills and enthusiasm for MUN. At NISCMUN, we will be focusing on the questions of “Job Security in The Age of Automation” and “Alleviating Global Poverty”. These two questions attempt to address fundamental issues of the contemporary global society, and its progress in terms of technological and financial advancements. Together as delegates, I look forward to witnessing your creativity, diplomacy, and excellence as we work together to find impactful solutions to these problems and create an unforgettable MUN experience.

My name is Arunaka Sean, a senior attending CIA First International School. I have attended a handful of MUN conferences locally and internationally, and I hope these experiences of mine can assist delegates through this nerve-wrecking conference. It is my utmost pleasure to entertain this year's NISCMUN as a deputy chair in ECOSOC. As a chair myself, I do understand how terrifying MUNs are because trust me I have been a delegate myself, but I can assure you that we'll surely walk through this together. Nonetheless, I'm also looking forward to fruitful discussions and insightful debate. |
