Greetings delegates,
My name is Dara Yuth KRY, and I am a sophomore at CIACA First International School. It is my privilege to serve as the Head chair of DISEC at NISCMUN 26. This will be my 18th conference and my 6th time chairing. Every MUN I’ve attended has shaped the way I think, broadened my understanding of global issues, and left a lasting impact and I hope NISCMUN will do the same for all of you. DISEC, also known as GA1, is one of the important and most essential committees within the United Nations. It explores issues ranging from global security to international conflict offering delegates the chance to debate, collaborate, and shape meaningful solutions. As your Chair, I am here to guide you, foster constructive collaboration, and ensure that every voice is heard. As someone who has been doing MUN since my freshman year, having your resolution not pass or not getting a Best Delegate award doesn’t define your ability. What matters is the effort you put in and the growth you take with you. I look forward to an engaging and fruitful debate, and I am excited to hear the ideas you will contribute to the committee. My name is Tetvannnita, and I am a Grade 10 student at Jay Pritzker Academy. I am thrilled to be your Deputy Chair for GA1 at the upcoming NISCMUN 2026 conference. This will be my first time chairing for NISCMUN, and I am truly looking forward to the experience. As your Deputy Chair, I will do my best to create an environment where every delegate feels confident to speak, share ideas, and engage in fruitful debates. I am excited to hear everyone's ideas/perspectives and help make this conference both enjoyable and meaningful for all of us. This conference is a chance for us to connect, grow, and challenge ourselves through debate and diplomacy. Whether you're new to MUN or experienced, I hope GA1 sparks curiosity, inspires new ideas, and encourages everyone to speak up. With that being said, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
